Open Live Writer problem reports

If you ever see OpenLiveWriter.exe has stopped working then you've hit a crash and Windows will automatically log additional information about the crash. Please follow these instructions to send the full crash details to the Open Live Writer team. image

  • Search for View all problem reports in your Start menu and click on that. image

  • The Problem Reports page in Control Panel will load. Scroll down and find Open Live Writer in the list and click on the More link (if there is one). image

  • Choose the Open Live Writer problem report with the most recent date. image

  • Double click on it (or right click and choose View technical details). Then click on Copy to clipboard and paste the contents into your GitHub issue. image
