Open Live Writer log file

The Open Live Writer log file is located on your computer at %localappdata%\OpenLiveWriter\Open Live Writer.log.

Here is the easiest way to find the log file:

  • Launch Open Live Writer
  • Click on File > About Open Live Writer
  • Click on Show log file
  • Email Open Live Writer.log to openlivewriter-team@dotnetfoundation.org making sure to reference the GitHub issue # in the title.
